Therapeutic counselling in SW4

Rob Piper has a Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling and is working towards full accreditation with the BACP. As an Integrative Counsellor, he draws upon the approach that best suit the issues that the clients brings to the therapy room. He works short-term with NHS patients in GP Surgeries in Brixton and Vauxhall and in Private Practice in Clapham.

Rob provides an empathic, non-judgemental environment that enables clients to talk through their presenting issues and emotions in a place of safety. Whilst counselling will help clients process difficult or painful thoughts and feelings, he firmly believes talking therapy will unlock a client’s potential enabling them to identify and manage change. This may be by having a greater awareness and acceptance of life events from the past or by identifying goals for the future.

A background in FMCG Logistics Management and Account Management, Rob has experience of pressurised work environments and an interest in conflict management. He recognises the importance of work life balance and the stresses of everyday life. He works with clients to manage this balance. Rob specialises in communication and workplace issues, family and relationships, common mental health problems and addiction.
