Private psychiatric assessment usually takes 90 minutes to complete. Common conditions such as anxiety and depression can be diagnosed, or indeed excluded. An evidence-based person-centred treatment plan for private clients' timely recovery can then be jointly agreed upon; clients start to feel better after their initial assessment.

Subsequent counselling and treatment sessions last 60 minutes and can be booked individually. Both individual and couples counselling can be provided according to clients' needs. Follow up appointments for 30 minutes are also offered if needed.

Considerable clinical evidence and research supports the effectiveness of talking or psychological treatments and treatment with medication across a wide range of mental health problems. The National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) recommends psychological therapies, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), for effectively treating mild and moderate depression and anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder, bipolar affective disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders and psychosis. More severe conditions may first need treatment with safe and effective medication for a faster recovery.

Dr Mohiuddin has successfully helped and treated many private clients of working age suffering from a wide variety of problems including:

  • depression & postnatal depression
  • stress & anxiety
